This week we are having an international food night. Please bring some interesting food from somewhere around the world. Please try and be imaginative that means no burgers and chips and no frozen Pizza. Please make something and use fair trade products as much as possible. We will all be having a taste so make sure there is enough for everyone to have a sample. Please also bring the food ready to eat.
Also, as it is the last Tuesday of the month there is no need for uniform.
We are planning to play a wide game this evening on the green in Caverswall, as there has been a fair amount of raid over the past couple of days please bring suitable footwear and outerwear. See you tonight
As it was mentioned at the training on Saturday you must be registered for any of your modules to be marked as complete. If you have not already registered (you will have received a membership pack if you have) then you MUST MUST MUST download, print off, fill in and bring your form with you on Tuesday. Time is running out as the practice expedition is only two weeks away. As Phil mentioned you can back date your form within reason so if you all mark your enrolment date as April 1 that should do the trick. You are all working towards your DofE Bronze so make sure you have ticked the right box and you pay the correct amount.
Please note: you need to bring your form to Explorers for me to sign then you need mail the form off yourself, I recommend you bring the completed form and a cheque in a stamped envelop with you on Tuesday so you can mail it once I have signed it, time is critical with this.

Last night we started some preparation for the upcoming DofE training day on May 16. When I asked how many were coming on that day 1 person said yes definitely and few were on the fence, this is not good enough, when Elizabeth came down to talk to you about this training day about 12 of you said you would be there. We have arranged for people from around the county to come and give this training, a lot of time and effort has already gone into this it would embarrassing and insulting to those organising it if only one or two of you show up.
What I need from you TODAY is a 100% commitment for this day, I understand that a lot of you have exams and you need to revise but this is just a single day.
If you plan to be there for the day please send me an email or text message by the end of the day today to let me know. This is the last chance we are going to give you to do DofE, if we have to cancel this training day we are not going to do anything else with DofE and instead concentrate on the chief Scout award.
If you do not have my email address or phone number please use the ‘Contact Us’ button above, this will send an email directly to me.
I cannot stress enough that you must let me know TODAY, if by the end of today there is still only one of you planning to come I will cancel the day, the clock is ticking.
